How do I manually assign an incident to a user?

Note: Your organisation may have customised some screens, so they may not appear the same.  Don't worry though, the concept remains the same

 If in doubt you should contact your System Administrator for further support

 

Firstly, you will need to login to your Notify account, you can do this here

1. Click on the incidents tab

2. Select the incident you would like to assign

3. Click assign

4. Select the assignee

Optionally, add a comment. 

Note: You will only be able to assign incidents to users that have an Incident Management licence and relevant permissions. 

5. Click Save 

The incident will then be assigned to the selected user. 

They will then receive an email notification to let them know that an incident has been assigned to them. 

You are able to view the incident assignee within the incident report and on the Incident tab (as shown below)
