New Features

New Permission Group for Incident Management

We've introduced a new "Assigned Incident Investigator" permission group, allowing users to manage only their assigned incidents while improving security, efficiency, and accountability.

• Users with this role can view, investigate, and manage only their assigned incidents.

• Users can manage priority, escalate incidents, track lost time, add attachments, and create/view actions, but cannot cancel, edit, or share incidents.

Risk Assessment Improvements

• Improved legibility of Risk Scores within the colour-coded circle, ensuring clarity regardless of font size or score length.

• Consistent font style, size, and colour across all Risk Assessment PDFs.

• The circle size remains uniform across the document for a professional look.

• Accurate risk matrix colours are applied, ensuring consistency with the system interface.

• Better contrast between text and background to meet accessibility standards.

• Risk Controls within a Hazard will now appear in the same numeric sequence in the exported PDF as they do in the web version, ensuring consistency and clarity.

Our work with enhancing our PDF exports doesn't stop here - the team have been researching and testing solutions for better handling of tables and sections, introducing repeating headers and adjusting layout spacing. Watch this space!

Technical debt

At Notify we call this ‘keeping our lights on!!'. Essentially this is about good housekeeping to ensure the infrastructure, code, third party components and the plumbing we use is maintained, secure and in good working order. We've recently completed our annual penetration test, so we've looked to implement recommendations on the back of this. 

Scheduled downtime

We are really looking forward to delivering this version to you. There will be scheduled period of downtime on the evening of Wednesday the 12th of March to allow us to introduce these new features into Notify. We will endeavour to keep any disruption to a minimum.
